Welcome to our knock-out game and the road to BUMSBowl XI starts here. There are no changes to the rules but for George & to refresh your memory here’s how this knock-out tournament works. It’s a head-to-head contest with the highest scorer in each game going through. You must select 1 QB, 1 kicker and any 4 outfield players to play within a budget of $7.5 million using the same player prices as the regular season. (See attached spreadsheet). You can change all players between each round and in each game no more than 2 players can appear in both teams. Get your teams back to me by 10am on Saturday so we can sort out any swaps needed. Whoever gets their team to me first gets first pick of players to swap, if necessary, so a speedy reply is of the essence. If the scores are tied at the end of the games the tie-breaker is the player that scored latest in any game. As always top scoring owner plays lowest and so on, so here are the Wildcard match ups. Ron will play David S, it’s John v Daz, Johnny v Phil, Andy H v AP, defending BUMSBowl X champion Cheryl v Gareth, Wayne v George, Mark v Aaron and Dave G v Marcus. NFL Play-offs In the AFC the champs are San Diego (West 14-2) and Baltimore (North 13-3) with bye weeks & Indianapolis (South 12-4) and New England (East 12-4) playing in the wildcard games at home to Kansas City (West 9-7) and New York Jets (East 9-7) respectively. In the NFC the champs are Chicago (North 13-3) & New Orleans (South 10-6) with bye weeks & Philadelphia (East 10-6) and Seattle (West 9-7) playing in the wildcard games at home to NY Giants (8-8) and Dallas (9-7) respectively. BUMS on Seats. We will meet at BUMS HQ from 9:30pm on Saturday night for The Chiefs visit to The Colts. The second game (Dallas @ Seattle) kick’s off at 1am Sunday morning & we will watch this on Sunday from 3:30pm at BUMS HQ followed at 6pm by The Jets @ The Patriots match-up and finally NY Giants travel to Philadelphia for a 9:30pm kick-off. The viewing plan for the Divisional games on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th January should be the same featuring one live game at 9:30pm on Saturday, then we will be getting together at 3:30pm Sunday afternoon at BUMS HQ for a triple header, starting with the recorded 1am second Saturday game then the two live games on Sunday evening.
